Based out of Vancouver, you will play a key support role for customers of our intuitive openpit mine planning solutionsMicromine Beyond and Spry. In this role you will be responsible for delivering high quality pre and postsales support activity, including technical product demonstrations, tenders, proof of concept model builds, software evaluation, campaigns, promotions, conferences and events etc. Reporting directly to the Technical Services ManagerMining, your key responsibilities will include: Assist the sales team by providing technical support during presales demonstrations, trade shows, and other promotional events as requested Developing and maintaining longterm customer relationships Create and present strategic technical demonstrations to customers with a solution and value focus Provide training to current and new software users. Such training may take place at a clients site, at a thirdparty venue or online Provide our clients with telephone, email and facetoface support BETA testing new versions and products, providing feedback, and assessing impacts on support procedures and documentation About You You will have a background within operational mining, focusing on mine planning. Other key skills, experience, and qualifications: A tertiary qualification in Mine Engineering Experience with Open Pit mining A minimum of 7 years experience in analysis, design, implementation, and support of mine planning and scheduling systems Operational onsite mining experience Experience with generalpurpose mining software Experience with coal/hard rock mining. Client facing experience in a software or consulting services company preferred The ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the timethroughout Americas Spanish and English professional fluency preferred (spoken and written).
