Position Details What You Will Do The Commercial Auto Physical Damage Claims Adjuster is responsible for the handling of claims related to automobiles, taxis, dealerships, rental vehicles, towing services, and driving schools. The claims are of highcomplexity, and the successful candidate will have a dynamic personality and the ability to thrive in a highperformance environment. The Commercial Auto Physical Damage Claims Adjuster will ensure claims are thoroughly investigated, fairly evaluated, and promptly resolved in accordance with the company guidelines and industry best practices. Leads complex investigations, handles difficult negotiations, settles and resolves disputed claims Effectively communicate with stakeholders to gather information and resolve claims efficiently Manage claims in litigation, participate in mediations, pretrials and settlement conferences Direct vendor partners as necessary to ensure timely delivery of services May participate in special projects and presentations Please note, salary range is not inclusive of total compensation. The expected salary range for this position will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidates skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific positions business line, scope and level. Who You Are Postsecondary education or equivalent experience CIP or working towards designation Minimum of 5 years experience handling commercial auto physical damage claims Strong organizational, desk management, decisionmaking and problemsolving skillset to deliver proactive and timely resolutions Well versed in interpreting insurance contracts and coverage requirements across various jurisdictions Knowledgeable of claims settlement practices, policy wording, fraud investigations and addressing complex coverage issues Please note that internal applicants are asked to formally express their interest by applying online no later than 10 business days of the position being posted.
