This hybrid role is based out of our Head Office in Surrey, BC . Are you passionate about shaping technology strategy and driving real business impact? Do you have 7+ years of experience in IT architecture, and experience in the enterprise space? If so, this may be the role for you! Were looking for someone who can think strategically, act pragmatically, and help drive change and agile ways of working. Expected Compensation The expected hiring range for this role is $150,000- $165,000 with a 35-hour work week. Your rate of pay will be determined based on your individual qualifications and experience, while considering internal equity. Why You''ll Love Westland An open, flexible and welcoming workplace Plenty of opportunities to grow and learn Autonomy to drive your own success Be part of our inclusive culture, alongside an extraordinarily talented community of people with a wide variety of backgrounds A total rewards program that takes care of your financial, physical, and mental health Flexible paid Values Days to celebrate days important to you Paid Volunteer Days for employees as part of Amplifying Communities, a program to support causes that matter most to our employees and clients Why We''ll Love You 7+ years of experience in IT architecture, including at least 3 years in an Enterprise Architect or Lead Solution Architect role Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline Exceptional communication skills and executive presence, with proven experience partnering with senior leaders (e.g., CIO) and delivering clear, compelling presentations to executive audiences Proven track record of designing and delivering solutions in public cloud environments (e.g., Azure or AWS), along with building scalable integration strategies (API Management, iPaaS) Strong expertise in integration patterns, data architecture, and cybersecurity best practices Handson experience modernizing legacy systems while effectively balancing core platforms (such as mainframes or policy administration systems) with modern digital solutions Familiarity with architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders A strategic, detailoriented, and highly organized mindset, with the ability to take initiative and excel in fastpaced, dynamic environments Once Here, You''ll Map business capabilities to technology solutions to identify gaps, overlaps, and opportunities for strategic investment Analyze key value streams (e.g., Claims, Underwriting) to uncover inefficiencies, reduce friction, and enhance both operational performance and customer experience Act as a critical bridge between business and technologytranslating business needs into technical requirements and articulating technical constraints as business risks and tradeoffs Establish and evolve architecture principles, standards, and guardrails that empower teams to move quickly while maintaining quality, scalability, and security Lead evaluations of SaaS platforms, vendors, and emerging technologies to ensure strong alignment with integration, scalability, and security objectives Drive the adoption of modern cloud platforms and architectural patterns, reducing reliance on legacy systems and enabling digital transformation Partner closely with data and delivery teams to advance AI/ML readiness, ensuring strategies are practical, actionable, and aligned with real-world execution Partner closely with the CIO and executive leadership to shape technology strategy, delivering clear, compelling presentations and strategic guidance while driving alignment on key architectural decisions #LI-HB1 #LI-Hybrid Want to get to know each other better?
