With continued growth and expansion, the company is seeking a Financial Controller to take ownership of its finance function and help drive operational and financial excellence. This is an opportunity to work closely with ownership in a hands-on environment, contributing directly to business performance and decision-making. Responsibilities Oversee full-cycle accounting, including month-end, year-end, and financial reporting Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements Lead payroll processes and ensure compliance with statutory requirements Oversee indirect tax filings, corporate tax installments, and regulatory compliance Manage project-based accounting, including job costing, subcontractor costs, and revenue alignment Monitor cash flow, banking, and overall financial health of the business Maintain oversight of insurance programs, benefits, and operational expenditures Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency Evaluate and support system enhancements or ERP implementations Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and provide actionable insights to ownership Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning as the function evolves Act as a key business partner across the organization and liaise with external advisors Requirements 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including full-cycle accounting Experience in manufacturing, construction, industrial, or other project-based environments strongly preferred Strong understanding of job costing and operational finance Hands-on, detail-oriented approach with a willingness to be involved in day-to-day operations Proven ability to operate effectively in an owner-managed, entrepreneurial environment Strong communication and business partnering skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
