Job Description And Responsibilities In this role the successful candidate will design strategies to enhance InterPro Pipe & Steel''s overall financial health. This will be done by formulating a finance strategy for the profitable longterm growth of the business through the maximization of returns on financial assets and seeking opportunities to reduce costs and increase capital. Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure for the Canadian Operations Coordinate, analyze and report the financial performance to Management and Board of Directors (financial performance, projections and other special projects as required) Prepare short and longterm financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties Collaborate with audit and tax functions on activities to review overall financial performance of the Company Develop, implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures for a wideranging set of activities including financial accounting and reporting Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent IFRS, GAAP, SEC rules and regulations including SarbanesOxley compliance Selects, coaches and develops high performing teams in all areas of customer billing, cash applications and collections. Establishes measurable goals and performs continual measurement, coaching and counseling to team members Remain current on operational trends, technological developments and regulatory changes Hires, trains, develops, monitors, and evaluates performance of staff.
