Position: President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Location: Dunnville, Ontario Reporting Relationship: Erie Mutual Board of Directors Direct Reports: Four Website: The Company Erie Mutual is located in Dunnville, Ontario, primarily serving the Niagara Peninsula and Haldimand County through a network of 25 employees and a team of captive, dedicated agents. Erie Mutual has served their communities since 1871, a company incorporated without share capital recognizing the policyholders are voting members and the primary stakeholders. Erie Mutuals commitment to community defines their WHY and differentiates them from their competitors. Erie Mutual strives to embrace new technologies and opportunities to grow and support policyholders and the communities where Erie policyholders reside. Erie Mutual insures auto, residential, farm and commercial risks, and in 2025 underwrote just under $10 million in gross written premiums with a staff of 25, including 9 captive agents. The Opportunity The current President and CEO will be retiring on August 1, 2026, providing the new President and CEO a unique opportunity to lead a mutual insurer that has served policyholders for over 150 years. The new president and CEO will be part of an engaged and committed team of employees that will strategically move Erie Mutual to the next level, with a focus on growth, profitability and sustainability. The new candidate will embrace the values that define mutuality, while empowering change and vision. Open and transparent relationships with the Board of Directors will drive strategic and operational excellence, delivering quality insurance services to policyholders and dedicated support to the communities that Erie Mutual serves.
