Overview The Pursuit Specialist supports strategic business development efforts across the Infrastructure Business by developing highimpact proposals and communications that highlight the firms technical expertise, experience, and creative approach. The role works closely with technical project managers, pursuit teams, and business development leadership to shape compelling pursuit strategies and materials that clearly articulate organizational strengths and differentiate the firm in competitive markets, while maintaining alignment with brand standards and positioning. Responsibilities Support proposal writing, coordination, strategy, and development efforts for a wide range of services and business sectors. Prepare thoughtful, engaging, and visually compelling proposals, qualifications, and promotional materials. Collaborate closely with technical staff and leadership to translate complex technical information into clear, persuasive messaging. Coordinate with business development leaders to support strategic pursuit planning and competitive positioning. Participate in client development and account management efforts, including positioning and pursuit planning. Support storytelling initiatives that elevate brand reputation, spotlight thought leaders and align with key accounts and market trends. Maintain and update internal systems related to people, project experience, and pursuit information. Ensure all materials are consistent with brand standards, quality expectations, and deadlines. Capabilities and Credentials Experience assisting with the preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), including coordinating inputs, formatting, editing, and quality control. Exposure to collaborating with technical professionals to gather project information and translate technical content into clear, clientfocused messaging. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Highly detailoriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadlinedriven environment. Strong design sensibility with an eye for compelling digital and print layouts. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign; experience with webbased platforms is an asset. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a regional, geographically dispersed team. Comfortable working with a wide range of personality styles and management levels. Confident communicating with individuals across all levels of the organization. Education and Experience Bachelors degree in marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum one year of experience supporting proposal or business development efforts. Preferably within the A/E/C industry. Pay Range Locations in Lower Mainland - BC, GTA & Ottawa Ontario-$67,600.00 - $98,100.00 Annually Pay Transparency In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreedupon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for parttime roles will be prorated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
