Were working with a well-established mid-sized accounting firm with a strong client base of private corporations, owner-managed businesses, and not-for-profits. The firm is looking to add an Assurance Manager to its team, overseeing audits, reviews, and compilation/NTR files. The Role Youll manage assurance and compilation engagements from planning through completion, working closely with partners while leading a team of staff and seniors. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys client interaction, mentoring, and taking on a leadership position in a collaborative mid-sized firm environment. Types of Files Audit and review engagements Compilation and Notice to Reader (NTR) files Financial statement prep and review Internal control reviews and recommendations Management letters and client deliverables Special projects and advisory engagements What Youll Be Doing Managing audits, reviews, and compilations from start to finish Leading client communications and maintaining strong relationships Reviewing working papers, financial statements, and NTR files Performing risk assessments and ensuring quality control standards are met Supervising, mentoring, and coaching staff and seniors Collaborating with partners on planning, budgeting, and client strategy Identifying process improvements and advisory opportunities Using CaseWare and other professional accounting tools What You Bring 57+ years of progressive public accounting experience (assurance focus) Strong technical knowledge of ASPE, CAS, and Compilation standards Proven ability to manage engagements and lead teams Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Client service focus with the ability to build trusted relationships Familiarity with CaseWare and related accounting software A proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative mindset Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing Industries Accounting Note: Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Minted Search Group by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
