We provide baseball, flag football, basketball, soccer, multisport and hockey day camps, as well as afterschool and weekend programs during the fall, winter and spring. The following camps will operate for 8 weeks. Location & Sport Kids Camp Lawrence Park Location: John Ross Robertson J.P.S (130GlengroveAveW, Toronto, ON) Term: June29August21,2026 MultiSport Camp Lawrence Park Location: John Ross Robertson J.P.S (130GlengroveAveW, Toronto, ON) Term: June29August21,2026 Baseball Camp Lawrence Park Location: Glenview Senior P.S (401RosewellAve, Toronto, ON) Term: June29August21,2026 Work Hours Onsite July & August from 8:00am4:00pm Monday to Friday, with some duties performed outside these hours (mostly remotely). Responsibilities Program Directors are the onsite leaders of our camps and are responsible for planning, organizing and implementing daily camp programming while fostering a fun, inclusive and safe environment for all campers and staff. PreCamp (June parttime, ~30hrs total) Work with the Leadership Team to create camp programming (daily and weekly) Assist with the planning and execution of stafftraining, scheduled for June20/21 (attendance mandatory; dates subject to change) Attend supplemental training specific to onsite leadership staff, scheduled for May30/31 (attendance mandatory; dates subject to change) Ensure all required equipment and supplies are purchased, stored and organized at camp During Camp (July & August fulltime) Staff Management Delegate and manage the Assistant Director, who reports to you as the secondincommand onsite Provide coaches with informal feedback and instruction; conduct formal performance reviews Support the Assistant Director in communicating weekly schedules and daily reminders to coaches (medical conditions, sun safety, hydration, etc.) Facilitate start and end of day staff meetings; set expectations for all coaches and encourage personal growth Support the Assistant Director in managing staff attendance Onsite oversight of CITs Programming Organize camper groups and cohorts before each week begins Create and facilitate daily camp programming, engaging directly with campers Collaborate with coaches to continuously improve programming Camper and Family Interactions Support the Assistant Director in managing camper checkin and checkout Communicate with parents throughout the day handling program questions and feedback professionally by providing exceptional customer service Assist coaches by offering care and comfort to upset, distraught or homesick campers First Aid and Camp Safety Ensure all activities are conducted safely Support the Assistant Director in providing first aid to campers and coaches as needed Maintain records of all incidents at camp Administer prescription medications to campers Keep a clean, wellorganized, and fully stocked first aid kit Miscellaneous Implement and enforce campwide policies and procedures (hand sanitation, phone/tablet rules, headcounts, garbage pickup, etc.) Participate in regular meetings with the Site Director Help track and organize camp equipment, supplies, tshirts and prizes Experience And Skills Strong leadership and communication skills from previous supervisory roles; ability to provide exceptional customer service Experience developing programs and activities for children Welldeveloped interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skills; ability to engage campers, parents and coaches Strong organizational skills and adaptability Extensive experience working with young children in a supervisory role as a teacher or early childhood educator For Baseball Camp PD: experience playing and coaching baseball Ability to motivate staff and recognize contributions of others Flexibility to attend occasional evenings and weekends throughout the summer Program Directors required to be certified in Standard First Aid and CPRC if not already qualified Compensation Competitive with comparable positions, determined based on experience and qualifications.
