Job Description Fidelity is seeking a Release Manager to oversee the endtoend release lifecycle, coordinate schedules, ensure documentation accuracy, maintain auditready records, and drive successful deployments. The Team Youll Be Part Of / What We Do Fidelity Clearing Canada (FCC) is the leading independent clearing broker and custodian in the Canadian market. We provide trade execution, clearing, custody and backoffice support services to Canadianbased brokerage firms and the Canadian brokerage arms of U.S.based firms. Responsibilities Ensure successful deployment of all code delivered by vendors to FCC development and production environments. Verify all vendor SDLC deliverables (scope/release documents, test notes, etc.) are received timely and meet SLA standards. Coordinate with FCC business units to schedule testing resources, set up environments, complete QA and UAT, obtain signoff, and ensure proper integration into production. Create, maintain, and provide appropriate documentation matrices for FCC business units. Maintain matrix libraries for audit and reference purposes. Meet or exceed all project quality and audit objectives for QA, UAT, and production implementation phases. Work with Governance manager to enact changemanagement protocols before production deployments. Provide required documentation and visuals for audit cycles. Assist support analysts with daytoday inquiries and resolve application issues. Evaluate client requirements and process enhancements or maintenance requests. Ensure compliance with firmwide policies during problem resolution. Act as liaison between vendor and users, communicating in business and technical terms. Plan, schedule, and coordinate all upcoming deployments with vendor and FCC business units. Act as Project Manager for FCC QA, UAT, and production implementation phases. Liaise with FCC BAU and vendor analysts to plan and schedule fixes and custom deployments. Organize and chair meetings with FCC and vendor resources to track QA and UAT problems to resolution. Keep management informed of any issues impacting delivery and raise escalations as needed. Establish working relationships with FCC business units and recommend new processes and procedures. Deliver stellar customer service to internal and external customers, ensuring timely, accurate, and dependable support. Take ownership in solving customer problems promptly using available resources. Provide caring, individual attention while listening and anticipating customer needs. Experience & Qualifications Minimum 3+ years software delivery experience utilizing SDLC methodologies in roles such as Project Manager, Business Analyst, Developer, or Quality Assurance lead. Solid computer skills including MS Office. 2+ years recent experience with Broadridge front and backoffice solutions or similar is a plus. Experience with brokerage applications (e.g., Dataphile, Arrow, IRESS) is a plus. College degree or equivalent work experience; a Computer Science degree is an asset. Canadian Securities Course (CSC) required or equivalent experience. PMP designation is an asset. The Expertise You Bring Strong knowledge of brokerage business environment, especially posttrade, mid/backoffice applications. Analytical thinker and problem solver with creativity. Conflict management and ability to influence internal and external clients. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Superior written and oral communication, including technical material to nontechnical users. Proficient project management methodology and strong collaboration skills.
