Job Title: Business System Analyst - Web and Mobile Location: Toronto, ON Experience Required: 6-8 years Required Skills: Agile Way of Working Digital: User Experience (UX) Scope of Work We are seeking a detail oriented and technically proficient Business Analyst with strong experience in web and mobile application projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with product owners, developers, UXUI teams, and stakeholders to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and ensure successful delivery of digital solutions. Requirements Gathering and Analysis Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand needs, goals, and pain points. Conduct workshops, interviews, user research, and workflow analysis. Document high quality BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases. Analyze existing systems and propose optimized digital solutions. Web Mobile Application Expertise Evaluate and define functional behavior across responsive web and native hybrid mobile apps (iOS, Android). Understand UIUX standards, accessibility guidelines, and mobile specific design patterns. Work with designers to ensure wireframes and prototypes align with requirements. Assess API requirements, backend integration needs, and data flow across platforms. Project Product Support Support product owners in roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and backlog grooming. Communicate requirements to development and QA teams in Agile Scrum environments. Participate in sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives. Quality Assurance Testing Support Review test cases to ensure coverage of requirements. Assist in UAT planning, execution, and defect triage. Validate that delivered features meet business and user expectations. Stakeholder Communication Bridge communication between business teams and technical teams.
