You are looking for new challenges in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, and growing organization. Reporting to the Licensed Insolvency Trustee. Your days will be varied and will involve administrative support of corporate proposals and receiverships proceedings, working with other senior estate administrators and a Licensed Insolvency Trustee.Are you energetic, curious, love to solve problems and eager to learn new things? Then we have an opportunity for you!Why Join DLI?We have deep experience in insolvency and are creative problem solversOur goal is always to find the right solution to challenging problemsSee how you can make a tangible difference, as you work as part of an experienced, collaborative teamCompetitive compensation and flexible work arrangementPosition Overview InsolvencyAdministration duties include (but not limited to):Administration of insolvency proceedings including: preparation of statutory and all other documents; filing documents with the Official Receiver; managing deadlines; organizing mailings and newspaper advertisements; preparing affidavits; maintaining insolvency computer-based dataAnswering creditor enquiries and reviewing creditor claimsAttendance at meetings of creditors and inspectors, preparation of minutes and general file review to ensure all outstanding matters are dealt with prior to assigning to closeoutDealing with other reporting in accordance with the Bankruptcy & Insolvency Act, as well as various other government reporting requirements such as the Wage Earner Protection Program ActOther support functions on insolvency engagements such as: insurance filings; letter writing; screening related mail and responding accordingly or seeking instructions from file manager, etc.Dealing with other professionals involved in the proceedings such as legal counsel, appraisal companies, interested parties, etc.Liaising with onsite staff or outside professionalsE-filing documents with OSBPerform PPSA and corporate searches as requiredReviewing arrears reports and pursue collection of proposal payments from corporate debtorsSetting up banking and other information for new filesAttending Meetings of Creditors, be a liaison between creditors and debtors; preparing all the necessary documents in relation to the Meetings of CreditorsEducation/BackgroundMinimum of five years of progressive work experience in insolvency administrationExperience interacting with a wide variety of external partiesExcellent communication skills, with the ability to write and engage in a highly professional, yet approachable mannerExcellent organization skills, with a systematic approach to managing tasks and workloadExcellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple and, at times, conflicting time-pressured demandsExceptional attention to detailStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and with little supervision in the context of the broader team environment, supporting others as requiredExcellent computer skills in Ascend and the Microsoft Office suiteCuriosity and willingness to learnInterested candidates can contact Rahn Dodick for more information or to apply.We thank everyone for taking the time to apply; only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted. #J-18808-Ljbffr
