Job Summary The Physiotherapist, reporting to the Clinical Manager, will assess, treat, educate, and manage clients requiring physiotherapy intervention in accordance with professional standards. Duties and Responsibilities Assess clients and develop, evaluate, and revise treatment programs, including goals and discharge plans. Maintain current, accurate clinical records according to College of Physiotherapists of Ontario standards, documenting assessment results, goals, treatment, progress, and discharge plans. Collaborate with other healthcare team members as needed. Monitor and support Physiotherapy Assistants in a team environment. Communicate pertinent information and recommendations to clients/ care providers and provide education regarding treatment strategies. Observe the performance of those assisting in the physiotherapy program and provide guidance as necessary. Other Skills and Abilities Maintain an active standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Participate in ongoing internal and/or external education activities. Adhere to Bayshore ICA Policies and Procedures. Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives within the organizations Quality Management System. Participate in proactive Health & Safety activities and report any risks or concerns to the immediate supervisor. Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate information. Complete other tasks as requested. Enjoy working with clients of all ages in multiple treatment environments. Demonstrate strong written and oral communication, interpersonal, and decisionmaking skills. Handle difficult situations objectively and consistently. Work independently and collaborate effectively with a team. Possess basic computer skills and proficiency with secure email. Commit to continued learning; hold a valid drivers license. Have a current criminal reference check and vulnerable sector screen.
