This role is all about momentum, someone who thrives on a fast pace, knows how to prioritize, and genuinely enjoys the chase of finding and landing great talent.As part of the HR team, youll own the full recruitment cycle end-to-end, keeping things moving with a strong sense of urgency and a get it done mindset. If you get a kick out of filling roles, building teams, and making an impact quickly, this is your lane.Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will also support broader HR initiatives, including but not limited to the following:Key Responsibilities:Responsible for the management of full life cycle recruitment, including sourcing strategy, phone interviews, presentation, and selection.Collaborate with internal business to ensure understanding of requirements and to gain business knowledge for successful recruitmentTrack applicants in HRIS Recruitment PlatformManage external job board postings and recruitment toolsCoordinate candidate pre and post interview follow-up communicationsSchedule interviews with candidates, hiring managers and the hiring teamCollaborate with the full Human Resources team to ensure all administrative components are completedManage and report all recruitment metrics with input from Human Resources teamLead best practice improvements to our recruitment processes to attract and retain top talentSupport other HR projects as requiredRequired Skills, Knowledge & Experience:Minimum of 3 years of solid full cycle recruitment experienceStrong knowledge of candidate sourcing and recruitment tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc)Fluent in HRIS preferably DayforceBachelors Degree in Business, HR, or equivalent combination of education & experienceKnowledge in Human Resources principles and an ability to apply this knowledge as it pertains to the company & people requirementsAttention to detailCreativeAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong oral and written communication skillsMust have advanced computer skills including proficiency in using MS Office applicationsAbility to create and maintain an environment that is productive and fun to be a part ofWorking Conditions while performing the job:The position is performed in an office environment.Compliance & TransparencyIn accordance with Ontarios pay transparency requirements, interviewed candidates will be informed when they are no longer under consideration for this position.
