About the Project You will be part of our Mobilinx project, playing a key role in driving its success and contributing to one of Canadas most exciting infrastructure projects. About the Job We are hiring a Purchasing Analyst: Subcontracts to step into an existing role On our Procurement Team on the Mobilinx. This position reports to the Assistant Procurement Manager. What You Will Be Doing? Responsible for tasks varying in nature and urgency, such as: Bid package preparation, issue and expediting. Issue RFPs Bid evaluation. Negotiating. Issuing subcontract agreements or change orders using Procurement Systems. Work closely with Internal Stakeholders. Create, negotiate long term construction subcontracts. Collaborate with relevant key working relationships; such as Client procurement representatives and vendors, to ensure all procurement activities regarding POs and contracts have been addressed and covered off. Manage deadlines and ensure appropriate communication is provided (to relevant parties) when schedule conflicts arise. Administer and electronically distribute specified reports to Clients and/or engineering staff members. Expected to work with all levels of the organization in a cohesive manner. Typically responsible for large, complex supply and installation as well as service packages and large fabrication orders. What We Are Looking For? Minimum of 2 years of experience in subcontract procurement preferred. Previous experience in Construction, Infrastructure or EPCM environment in the domestic oil and gas industry is an asset. Degree, diploma or certificate in Supply Chain Management or other applicable area. Proficient in MS word, excel spreadsheets, outlook, database, and word processing software. Proficient in the English language (Reading, writing, and speaking). Expected Compensation Successful candidates chosen for this position can expect to earn between $80,000.00 CAD - $100,000.00 CAD. The exact salary you will earn within this range is dependant on the specific project to which you are assigned. Why Choose Webuild?
