POSITION GOAL This position will help drive the future of NFI Groups Treasury to its target future end state. The position will support cash forecasting, cash management and insurance functions of NFI Group. This role will include significant involvement in assisting with NFI Groups cash flow forecasting that supports NFIs cash management decision making processes. This role will also help update and install standardized procedures across NFI Group Treasury and support development of internal controls and policies. The position will also help with other strategic ad-hoc Treasury projects to support the global business. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Forecast daily cash position and assist with preparation of rolling 52-week Group wide cash flow forecast Support development of consistent treasury processes and procedures to be utilized across the Group Develop strategies to optimize cash position of the company Maintain integrity and accuracy in financial transactions and reports Follow standard procedures to improve efficiency in cash collections, funds transfers, cash disbursements, monthend account closing activities, and interdepartmental reporting Assist with foreign currency exchange Liaise with banks to address any account issues and queries, including signing authorities, opening and closing of bank accounts Develop financial reports to assist management in making appropriate decisions regarding debts and foreign exchange plans Support annual insurance policy renewal program Advance use of the GTreasury cash management system to increase efficiency and speed up processes Support the Manager and Director as they develop new strategies to drive NFIs future state Treasury function Assist with cash flow forecasting for acquisitions and other strategic projects QUALIFICATIONS College diploma or university degree in business, finance or accounting. Financial or Accounting designation (CPA, CFA) considered an asset 14 years of relevant finance or treasury experience preferred New graduates will be considered Banking experience considered an asset Proficiency with Microsoft Office; GTreasury experience preferred but not essential Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills Effective timemanagement skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Teamoriented with an inquisitive mindset and willingness to learn new tasks Travel may be required up to 5% OUR WHY We exist to move people.
