The Role Reporting to the manager, reliability engineering, you will act as the technical authority for Camecos structural integrity program, with accountability for program governance. The program aims to ensure that structural assets within the program are properly, consistently, and regularly inspected over their life cycle post commissioning, including assurance of inspection effectiveness, periodic reviews of inspection strategies, and continuous improvement based on asset risk. Structural assets within scope may include buildings, headframes, shafts, surface and underground structures, foundations, structural components of storage tanks and vessels, piping supports, material handling structures, and other civil/structural infrastructure that supports safe and reliable operations. In this role, you will: Develop and maintain Camecos structural integrity program, including governance, standards, inspection strategies, and performance metrics. Develop inspection and condition monitoring plans for structural assets, including integration of mechanical components where applicable. Execute structural integrity inspections and facilitate third party inspections of structures at Camecos operations. Provide engineering assessments of inspection and monitoring results, including working with Camecos Technical Services group to develop recommendations for repairs, remediation, load restrictions, or re-evaluation of inspection plans. Coordinate longterm inspection plans and integrity activities across Camecos operations. Support riskbased integrity prioritization and input into asset investment and lifecycle planning. Provide technical guidance and subjectmatter expertise to site engineering, maintenance, and operations teams related to structural integrity risks and mitigation measures. Required bachelors degree in structural or civil engineering (mechanical considered with significant structural integrity experience); minimum of eight years of progressive experience in structural integrity, reliability engineering, or asset integrity management within operating industrial, mining, or heavy infrastructure environments; knowledge of structural design and assessment standards (e.g., ASCE 11, CSA S850, ACI assessment standards, CSA S16, CSA A23.3, CSA S6or equivalent); experience applying riskbased inspection or riskbased asset integrity methodologies; eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS); and ability to travel to northern Saskatchewan or Ontario operations approximately once per month. Recommended knowledge of SAPPM; experience with inspection and assessment of steel, concrete, timber, and composite structures in industrial environments; familiarity with load rating, structural health monitoring, corrosion assessment, fatigue, and remaining life evaluation techniques; working knowledge of applicable building codes, occupational health and safety regulations, and jurisdictional requirements (Saskatchewan, Ontario, Federal COHSR, where applicable); knowledge of related standards and guidance from CSA, ASTM, ISO, AISC, ACI, API (as related to structural components of equipment and tanks); experience with nondestructive testing (NDT) methods applicable to structural systems; CGSB Level I or II, PCN, or ASNT Level II certification (or demonstrated experience managing NDT programs); and strong communication, collaboration, coaching/mentoring, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence decisions across disciplines and sites.
