You are organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with leaders and peers.You:Take pride in delivering highquality, accurate work.Thrive in a highvolume, evolving environment.Communicate clearly and professionally in French and English, both verbally and in writingAdapt easily to shifting priorities.Enjoy being part of a small, collaborative team.Have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.What we have to offer:Opportunity to work for one of the largest after-market auto parts provider in North America.A rewarding organizational culture through our Team Member recognition program and team lunchesGreat benefits and a matching RRSP programEmployee discounts on auto partsYour Impact:Talent AcquisitionCoordinate end-to-end recruiting activities in the provinces we operate.Post roles nationally and internally using Workday, LinkedIn, Indeed, colleges, and other sourcing channels.Works with leaders to determine position requirements and define candidate qualifications.Source candidates, conduct phone screens, and schedule interviews.Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs.Serve as a Workday subject matter expert, assisting managers with the hiring process and training as needed.Manage the background check process, following up with candidates as required ensuring successful completion.Represent Carquest at career fairs and through social media and professional networks.Support managers and new hires with on-boarding activities including presenting bi-weekly orientation online seminar.HR Coordination Respond to employee and manager inquiries related to HR policies, programs, and Workday processes.Coordinate HR expense administration.Manage HR correspondence, filing, and records with attention to confidentiality and accuracy.Assist with HR projects and initiatives as required.Qualifications:Fluency in both French and English (written and verbal) required.Post-secondary degree/diploma in Human ResourcesProficiency in Microsoft Office softwareAbility to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates.Workday experience an asset1-2 years experience managing administrative functions within a Human Resources department or recruiting experience.Hands-on human resources experience supporting retail stores and/or distribution centres.Ability to coordinate multiple and changing priorities.Ability to interface well with all levels of the organization.CHRP designation is an asset.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, and basis of disability or any other federal, provincial, or local protected class.
