Manager, Data Science & Business IntelligenceOverviewWe are currently recruiting for a Manager, Data Science & Business Intelligence who brings strong technical depth across data science and BI, paired with proven experience leading and developing teams.This role is suited to someone who can guide complex analytical work, bring structure to ambiguous problems, and operate as a credible partner to senior stakeholderswhile staying close enough to the work to maintain quality and direction.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and develop a team of data scientists, analysts, and BI professionals, setting clear expectations and driving performanceStay actively engaged in the workguiding modelling approaches, analytics design, and reporting outputsOwn delivery of advanced analytics initiatives including predictive modelling, forecasting, and applied AI/MLTranslate business problems into structured data science and BI solutionsEnsure consistency, accuracy, and credibility across dashboards, models, and insightsPartner cross-functionally with senior stakeholders to align work with business prioritiesBalance ad-hoc requests with longer-term initiatives and roadmap prioritiesDrive adoption of BI tools, reporting standards, and data-driven decision-makingOperate effectively in a complex, enterprise environment with competing prioritiesIdentify and implement improvements across analytics workflows and delivery processesQualificationsCurrently leading a team within data science, business intelligence, or analyticsMinimum 5 years of direct people management experienceStrong foundation in statistical methods and advanced analyticsHands-on experience with Python, R, or SASStrong SQL skills and experience working with structured data environmentsExperience with BI tools such as Power BIComfortable working across both modelling and reporting environmentsAble to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholdersExperience supporting functions such as operations, finance, or supply chain is an assetInterview ProcessCandidates should expect a multi-stage interview processFinal stage includes a take-home assignment and presentationWhats OfferedBase salary in the range of $118,000 $135,000Bonus potential up to 10%Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverageDefined benefit pension planAdditional wellness and professional development programsThis opportunity is being presented by Drake International on behalf of one of our clients.Drake International is an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive and accessible workplace.
