POSITION OVERVIEWPaisley Partners Inc, a Navacord Company, is accepting applications for experience Commercial Insurance Brokers who are knowledgeable expert advisors in commercial lines insurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a book of business in our commercial division, servicing clients in a courteous and professional manner, and assisting the producer in obtaining, maintaining and expanding business. RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for managing a book of business, which focuses on maintaining relationship with a number of associationsManage account documentation (i.e. routine inquires, quotes, binders, statement of values, insurance contracts, endorsements, cancellations, etc.)Review and assess application, bind coverages, calculate premiums, issue certificates of insurance, document policies, and report claimsEnsure that premium with applicable taxes and fees are collected prior to binding, either through the credit card site, cheque, email transfer, CAFO, etc.Upload policy documents within portalsEnsure that a high level of service is maintained when answering a large number of client calls during renewals periodsSet clear expectations for client and business partners by providing same day response time.Review clients current coverage and exposures, loss experience and analyze risk to determine the product/service requirementsWorks closely with Producers and other staff on all aspects of client service, marketing, renewal while adhering to best practices and standard proceduresREQUIREMENTS:8-10 years of commercial insurance experience requiredUniversity degree preferredR.I.B.O license requiredWorking towards C.I.P. or C.A.I.B. designationSuperb interpersonal skills and attention to detailAbility to be a self starter with strong written and oral communication skills as well as organizational skillsSkills in Outlook, Excel, Word and EPICBENEFITS:Health and Dental BenefitsRRSP Match ProgramHybrid Work EnvironmentPaid Vacation TimeSick DaysVary DaysThis is for a newly created position.Navacord DOES NOT utilize artificial intelligence in the screening, assessment, or selection of applicants for this positionNavacord is actively committed to support diversity, equity, and inclusion.
