Senior Liability ExaminerThe OpportunityDGA Careers is partnering exclusively with a well-established, national third-party claims management organization on the search for a Senior Liability Examiner. This is a fully remote position open to qualified candidates anywhere in Canada.This is a technically demanding role for an experienced liability professional who thrives on complexity. You'll take ownership of high-severity, multi-line claims from investigation through resolution, collaborating with independent adjusters, legal counsel, and client stakeholders to deliver outcomes that align with policy terms and client expectations.What You'll DoApply strong technical and analytical skills to make sound decisions on coverage, claims value, and settlement strategyDirect Independent Adjusters and Legal Counsel throughout the investigation, negotiation, and resolution of complex claimsBuild and maintain positive relationships with clients, taking a proactive approach to service delivery at every stage of the claims processContribute to improvements in claims data quality, reserve management practices, and payment workflowsManage a varied national caseload of complex, high-severity liability claims no two files are alikeWhat You BringMinimum 8 years of multi-line claims handling experience, with significant exposure to complex, high-severity liability lossesCIP or FCIP designation (required)Experience dealing with Lloyd's UnderwritersAbility to obtain adjusting licenses in multiple provincesCalm, professional presence with strong communication skills in a fast-paced environmentExcellent analytical and organizational skills; comfortable managing competing prioritiesInterested applicants can reach out to Melissa Colley at .
