This role ensures systems, equipment, and facilities are installed, tested and handed over in accordance with project specifications, safety standards and client requirements. If you're ready to be part of a team that plays a pivotal role in Ontario's most impactful infrastructure developments, while adding to your on-site experience with industry-leading projects, we invite you to join us.Vacancy Statement: This is a new positionLocation: This position will be based at the Mobilinx ProjectKey ResponsibilitiesMaintains a healthy and safe work environment, ensuring that proper protocol is implemented by craft and all other personnel on site.Coordinate commissioning activities across multiple disciplines (civil, electrical, mechanical, systems).Assist in developing and maintaining commissioning schedules and tracking progress.Assist with permitting as required by contract specifications and client requirements.Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives to ensure alignment on testing and handover requirementsPrepare and manage commissioning documentation (checklists, test reports, turnover packages)Monitor system installation to ensure readiness for testing and commissioningSupport site inspections, functional testing, and system validation processesIdentify deficiencies, ensuring timely resolution prior to project handoverMaintain communication between construction and commissioning teams to ensure smooth transition phasesPrepares correspondence with owner and consultants for review.Other duties as assigned.Key Qualifications/RequirementsPost-Secondary education from a registered Engineering/Construction discipline.5+ years of experience in on-site construction coordination, with a focus on commissioning and permitting on infrastructure projects.Experience with transit, rail, or large-scale infrastructure projects is an asset.Strong understanding of construction processes and project lifecycle.Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit)Excellent organizational, communication, time-management and problem-solving skills.Excellent knowledge of contracts, industry practices and work codes.Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision.Ability to manage and facilitate numerous projects simultaneously.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Self-motivated, self-dedicated, and results oriented.Ability to work with tight deadlines, multitask and follow up.Flexibility to work varying schedules.What AMICO Can Offer YouCompetitive SalaryMedical, dental, and vision insuranceEmployer Matching Retirement ProgramLife insuranceAccess to mentorship programs3 weeks vacation At Amico, we are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
