Hays is partnered with a well-established, integrated local firm registered in Alberta and British Columbia that is seeking an Intermediate Architectural Technologist / CA to join their growing team. The firm delivers high-quality, innovative design across a diverse range of building types and project scales. This role involves site visits and close collaboration with clients, contractors, and internal teams in the preparation and review of contract documents, as well as resolving construction and contractual issues. Its an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, agile team with clear opportunities for growth. *opportunity for hybrid after 3 month probationResponsibilities:Maintain regular communication with the internal team, contractors, and clients throughout the construction periodManage the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiating, and finalizing agreements with clients, suppliers, and subcontractorsReview and analyze contracts for compliance, monitor performance, and ensure all parties meet their obligationsContribute to design development and construction documentationReview shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders using Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and RevitCoordinate with consultants to resolve technical and constructionrelated issuesConduct routine site visits and prepare supporting documentationFollow up on reports, produce deficiency lists, and assist with Certificates of PaymentMaintain accurate contract files and project recordsQualifications:Diploma or Bachelors Degree from an accredited Architecture or Technical program.Ideally you will possess 3+ years of CA experience.Prior experience with contract documents is required.Proficient with the following platforms: Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe & Sketch-Up.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage conflict and negotiate.Possess strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and be able to work under pressure.The successful candidate will receive an attractive compensation package of $70K-$90K base (dependent on experience) + extended benefits, free parking and flexible work hours.
