Job Description

Provide critical interventions as an Intimate Partner Violence Worker. Engage in risk assessments and crisis support to empower individuals affected by intimate partner violence within the community. In this pivotal role, you will execute individualized risk assessments and provide safety planning, crisis counseling, and outreach services. You'll collaborate closely with law enforcement and community partners, processing high-risk referrals and assessing relationship dynamics. The focus is on advocating for clients and mitigating risks by offering tailored support and appropriate referrals. Key Responsibilities: Conduct risk assessments for tailored interventions Provide crisis counseling and management services Process referrals for high-risk situations Accompany police on home visits and community outreach Evaluate relationship dynamics and unsafe environments Requirements: Degree in Social Work (BSW/BISW) 1-3 years of relevant direct experience Eligible for good standing with a professional association Utilize your expertise to support individuals facing intimate partner violence and drive impactful change in the community. #J-18808-Ljbffr
