Team mission Revenue Platform is responsible for the systems and data that turn GetYourGuide bookings into accurate, auditable financial outcomes. We own the booking lifecycle and its conversion into accountingready financial data; the foundations for financial and payout data; and the tooling/integrations that keep revenue flows correct at scale, including partner tax information (including validation), FX rates, and auditability of financiallyimpacting modifications. Your mission As a Senior Software Engineer on Revenue Platform, your mission is to provide technical leadership across the revenue domain while staying handson to deliver the capabilities other teams depend on. You will lead initiatives that improve correctness, auditability, and scalability across core money flows for over EUR1B Revenue, where small changes lead to a great impact. Lead domainlevel technical direction (architecture, standards, and evolution of core financial primitives), driving alignment across partner teams. Build and operate backend services that convert the booking lifecycle into accountingready financial data, and power financial + payout data at scale (300M+ financial events per year). Deliver and maintain critical financial tooling and integrations, including partner tax info validation, FX rates, and strong auditability of financiallyimpacting modifications. Balance new feature delivery with operational excellence, correctness, and platform health. Mentor engineers, contribute to team culture, and elevate the performance standards across the team. Your toolkit 5+ years of software development experience Excellent collaboration and team work skills Proficiency in Java/Spring and the ability to build features from scratch A strong background in designing and implementing scalable serviceoriented architectures and a good understanding of design patterns, APIs, and eventdriven architecture.
