Project Engineering Manager We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to serve as the primary point of contact and face of the company to key global clients within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry. This highly technical role requires a strong understanding of automation and packaging systems. Responsibilities Act as the main point of contact to support all customer needs and inquiries. Provide technical expertise related to the packaging industry. Build longterm relationships with our clients. Review and interpret customer and vendor drawings and specifications. Meet with and communicate with customers on a regular basis to confirm project status. Manage customer and vendor change management and negotiations. Manage the project team (including mechanical and electrical engineers) and support the production department. Create fullline installation documents including BOM, detail drawings, assembly drawings, and layouts. Check and validate all final design documentation and drawings according to design and contract requirements to ensure completeness and accuracy. Coordinate with all involved parties to ensure the project is executed on time and within budget. Lead site commissioning and startup. Qualifications and Experience Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or engineering technologist (CET) or related field. 610 years of technical experience in Engineering and Project Management in the packaging or automation industries. PMP designation is considered an asset but not required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with endofline packaging equipment considered an asset. Automation design and build experience considered an asset. Experience with line layouts, equipment specifications, and mechanical design (AutoCAD) required. Equipment startup and debugging experience. Proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD systems required. Benefits We offer an open, communicative environment that fosters individual initiative. Compensation Salary Range: $110,000 $125,000 per year.
