Overview Hospitalist Eagle Ridge Hospital: Full and Part-time positions. Fraser Health is seeking physicians interested in working in our hospital medicine program at Eagle Ridge Hospital. Applicants should have a strong interest in acute care hospital practice and working collaboratively with all members of the inter-professional team, including other physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, and Allied Health staff. Eagle Ridge Hospital is committed to a culture of collaborative, inter-professional, team-based care. Responsibilities Primary responsibilities include admissions and management of patients as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP), as well as supportive care for some surgical and specialty medical patients. Applicants should be comfortable working independently with mostly off-site specialty support by phone. Day and evening shifts are 7 days consecutively. Participation in overnight coverage is mandatory, but frequency of coverage is proportional to weeks worked. Qualifications FRCPC or CCFP Experience in rural medicine an asset ACLS strongly recommended CPSBC Full or Provisional CMPA CPSBC US certified class of registration acceptable Eligibility Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) and have either CCFP (or equivalent) or FRCP credentials.
