Overview Substance Use Support Recovery & Treatment Psychiatrist Virtual position with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH). Work Site: Virtual Vancouver Status: Permanent Part-Time Start Date: April 27, 2026 Compensation Type: Combination Responsibilities Provide diagnostic clarity and make medication recommendations for patients on a 90-day treatment program, in consultation with primary care and addiction medicine teams. Support patients with concurrent disorders on their path to recovery within facility-based programs contracted by VCH. Collaborate with clinical teams; you are not required to provide addiction medicine care or prescribe opioid agonist therapy (OAT). See patients in early recovery from substance use; care is provided virtually to four sites (2 half days or 1 full day per month). Ability to work from home or from a VCH office space.
