THE ROLEWe're looking for a Chief of Staff to support our CEO and CGO across their strategic priorities. This isn't a gatekeeper or scheduler role. You'll be the person who turns ambiguity into clarity doing the analysis, running the process, and making sure nothing important falls through the cracks.You'll work across two of the most active parts of the business: growth strategy (CGO) and company operations (CEO). The work is varied, the stakes are real, and you'll have direct exposure to how decisions get made at the leadership level.WHO WE ARESUKOSHI is North America's leading destination for trending Asian beauty. Backed by deep expertise and a passion for discovery, we bring a little bit of beauty, everydaythrough thoughtfully selected products, immersive experiences, and personalized guidance.With community at our core, we prioritize quality, authenticity, and innovation to bring beautiful moments, big and small, closer to you.RESPONSIBILITIESData & ReportingBuild and maintain dashboards and reports that surface what's actually happening in the business (sales, store performance, staffing, etc.).Pull and synthesize data from Shopify and other sources to support leadership decisions.Own ad hoc analysis when we need to move fast on a question.People & Talent OperationsManage our talent funnel end-to-end: job postings, candidate tracking, and coordination across hiring processes.Research and maintain benchmark compensation data across retail roles in our operating markets (both USA and Canada).Support onboarding logistics for new hires.Performance ManagementSupport on performance review cycle for retail-level staff timelines, templates, manager coordination, and follow-through.Identify gaps and flag patterns to leadership before they become problems.Strategic SupportHelp the CEO and CGO prepare for key meetings gathering context, building materials, following up on action items.Take on special projects as priorities shift (this will happen; it's part of the job).Serve as a connective tissue across the org making sure information flows and things don't get stuck.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCESMust-have23 years of experience in a generalist, operations, or strategy role startup, consulting, or retail operations background all relevant.Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with data and presenting findings clearly.Excellent written communication you can draft a crisp summary or a clear process doc without hand-holding.High ownership mentality you notice what needs doing and do it.Nice-to-haveExperience in retail or a consumer brand environment.Familiarity with Shopify (Analytics, admin, reporting).Exposure to HR processes or people ops.Why JoinDirect access to leadership and visibility into how a growing retail brand operates.A small team where your work has an obvious impact.Flexibility to work remotely from Toronto with travel to our stores as needed.
