The Associate Private Banker is part of the Developing Private Banker program a 12to24month accelerated training opportunity that combines structured education, licensing, and mentorship from experienced market leaders. The role provides clientfacing support for HNW and UHNW clients, managing onboarding, banking activities, and tailored credit solutions, while collaborating with Private Banking, Wealth, and Bank partners to deepen client relationships. Support the Relationship Manager in onboarding HNW & UHNW clients and provide a hightouch service experience. Execute all onboarding procedures, banking activities/transactions, and straightforward credit solutions for highvalue and sophisticated personal clients. Apply knowledge of Business Banking products and services to enhance and support the overall client relationship. Conduct proactive client followups to confirm expectations are met and ensure any outstanding items are resolved promptly. Support the Relationship Manager to proactively identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and work collaboratively with various Private Banking, Wealth and Bank partners to offer highly complex credit solutions to HNW & UHNW clients. Support the analysis of credit and underwriting requests by ensuring adjudication in accordance with assigned discretionary limits and established guidelines. Ensure adherence to operating standards and processes perform quality checks and validation of work. Protect the interests of the organization identify and manage risks, and escalation nonstandard, highrisk transactions & activities as necessary. Ensure necessary due diligence to support the accuracy of all customer transactions & activities. Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts. Required Skills & Education Postsecondary or undergraduate degree (in related field) preferred. 2+ years of relevant experience. Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC). Willingness to complete the Personal Financial Planner (PFP) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation within 36 months from start date. Strong knowledge of banking and credit products & services. Understanding of wealth products and solutions, including credit, cash management, investments and related services. Knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn banking and risk, operations, and related procedures. #J-18808-Ljbffr
