This Coop/Intern Programming is offered with select roles and is designed to help you better understand the TD business, build critical career capabilities, and broaden your professional network. The program includes leadership talks, lunch and learns on topics such as innovation, diversity and inclusion, personal branding and more. Operational Risk Management Team The ORM team is a secondline risk function that supports corporate functions across the bank, including HR, Financial Crime Risk Management, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Audit, and Treasury & Balance Sheet Management. It provides independent oversight and challenge across key operational risk categories while supporting strategic initiatives, effective governance, and strong risk culture. Through collaboration and effective challenge, ORM helps protect the banks reputation and enables sustainable growth. Responsibilities The intern may assist with risk assessments, reporting, and stakeholder engagement, contributing to effective oversight and informed decisionmaking. This work enhances risk awareness, supports strategic initiatives, and reinforces a strong risk culture across the bank. Requirements Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Business/Commerce, Risk Management, or a related field. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of returning to school at the start of your work term. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail. Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn through asking thoughtful questions. Ability to synthesize information and communicate insights clearly, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with data or reporting tools is an asset. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being selfdirected. Interest in risk management, governance, and corporate functions within a financial institution. Professionalism and sound judgment when handling sensitive or confidential information.
