Job Description

Responsibilities Develop and customize Health Cloud objects, components, and integrations to support patient management and outcomes tracking, adhering to healthcare standards and privacy requirements. Design and implement datadriven solutions, ensuring integrity, security, and compliance with PHIPA, PIPEDA, and provincial privacy regulations. Lead technical design reviews, conduct peer code reviews, and mentor junior developers to maintain best practices and coding standards. Participate in Agile delivery, automate business processes, and support CI/CD pipelines using Salesforce DX and related tools. Provide Tier2 production support, troubleshoot issues, and stay current with Salesforce releases and healthtech trends to propose innovative solutions. Requirements 3+ years of handson development on the Salesforce Platform (Apex, LWC, Aura, Visualforce). Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline or equivalent professional experience. Salesforce Platform Developer I (required). Platform DeveloperII, Salesforce Health Cloud Accredited Professional, or MuleSoft Certified Developer are highly desirable. Direct experience building solutions on Salesforce Health Cloud (patient, care plan, provider, household objects). Proven ability to integrate Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs; exposure to MuleSoft or similar middleware; familiarity with HL7/FHIR is a strong plus. Strong understanding of data modeling, sharing rules, OWD, fieldlevel security, and Canadian health privacy regulations (PHIPA, PIPEDA). Proficient with Salesforce DX, VSCode, Git, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps). Experience working in Scrum or Kanban environments; comfortable writing user stories and acceptance criteria. Prior experience in the home health, home care, or broader healthcare services sector. Knowledge of Azure or AWS services and serverless architectures. Experience with Experience Cloud/Communities for patient or caregiver portals. Exposure to data migration tools (Data Loader, Jitterbit, Informatica). Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG2.1) and patientcentred UX design.
