As an Electrical Engineer in our Buildings team in Vancouver, you will shape highperformance, sustainable, peoplecentric buildings across British Columbia. Your work will influence how communities live, learn, work, and heal ensuring our built environments are safe, resilient, and futureready.Your ImpactDesign electrical building systems including power distribution, lighting, life safety, communications, and integrated energy solutions.Deliver clear, technically strong calculations, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.Collaborate closely with architects and multidisciplinary engineering teams to create fully coordinated building designs.Support project delivery from concept design through construction, including site reviews and responding to contractor queries.Apply relevant Canadian codes, standards, and best practices to ensure safe, compliant, highquality electrical systems.Integrate sustainability, energy efficiency, and lowcarbon strategies into building electrical designs.Communicate design intent effectively to internal teams, clients, and external partners to maintain alignment throughout project stages.The Skills That Set You ApartYou bring progressive experience in electrical engineering for building systems, gained through handson project delivery and realworld design work.You have, or are eligible for, P.Eng. with EGBC, or are actively working toward professional licensure.Youve contributed to buildingfocused projects such as commercial, institutional, healthcare, educational, mixeduse, or civic facilities.Youre comfortable navigating all stages of design from early concepts to construction with a focus on practical, buildable solutions.You are proficient with industrystandard tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design/calculation software.You thrive in collaborative, multidisciplinary environments and are motivated by delivering work that improves communities.Why Choose WSP?We exist to shape communities to advance humanity.
