About The Unit The Customer Service Department ensures the placement, shipment and invoicing of all sales for Yara Belle Plaine and Yara Canada from our production facility and warehouses encompassing a large number of different products. Team members work in a fast-paced and hectic environment, while always keeping a positive attitude and customer focus. Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day functions of the Customer Service Team and provide direction that ensures a customer focused standard. Provide support by answering questions and working with other departments to ensure sales contracts/orders are placed accurately and timely. Collaborate with Sales, Transportation, and Warehouses to trouble shoot any problems that arise. The CS Team Lead is a key member of the Team pursuing overall objectives relative to customer service, netbacks, supplier relation, etc. This focus requires a pro-active approach to developing and executing the overall team opportunities. Support staff development and provide guidance through the performance review process. Seek out and implement solutions that improve Yaras effectiveness in using IT systems, and other processes across all functions/departments. Lead and coach the customer service team Maintain team morale, workload balance, and schedule coverage. Manage consignment inventory, reconciliations, and invoicing. Troubleshoot inventory, operational, and documentation issues. Support the growth strategy for Yara Vita in Western Canada, including contract and order management, rebates, and tracking container delivery. Handle pricing uploads, discrepancies, and service chargebacks. Perform audits, rebate reconciliations, inventory adjustments and ensure adherence to internal controls. Support reporting requirements and assist with internal/quarterly audits. Collaborate with Sales and transportation on product position, allocation and inventory management to ensure timely delivery for shipment from the Belle Plaine production facility. Education, Experience & Skill Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain or equivalent experience.
