Technical Training Developer Sandvik Mining seeks a Technical Training Developer to cocreate and deliver product and application training related to our products, processes and services. The role supports the development of standardized training setups for largescale and modular plants, ensuring consistent and effective training for customers. What You Will Be Doing Content Development Create and update technical training materials such as presentations, manuals, elearning modules and job aids. Ensure training content aligns with product updates, safety standards and service requirements. Standardize training resources across product lines (loaders, haul trucks, drills, surface drills, rotary drills). Course Delivery Support Assist the Technical Training Specialist with planning and delivering inclass, virtual and handson training. Set up classrooms, equipment and training aids for sessions. Provide technical demonstrations and act as a resource for learners. Trainee Engagement & Feedback Collect, analyze and report trainee feedback to improve course content and delivery. Provide followup support to trainees to reinforce learning. Maintain training records in coordination with the L&C Administrator. Technical Point of Contact Act as a technical support contact for new hires during onboarding. Provide coaching and guidance on key equipment and processes. Support supervisors with technical queries related to training. Training Needs Analysis Work with managers and technical teams to identify key training priorities annually. Monitor emerging product lines, service issues and technology changes requiring training updates. Recommend adjustments to training plans to address skills gaps. Continuous Improvement Stay current with product developments and industry best practices. Propose and support new methods of training delivery such as simulators, blended learning and microlearning. Contribute to projects that improve training efficiency and effectiveness. What You Will Bring Along 2year Technical Degree or Diploma in a mechanical discipline (e.g., HD Equipment, Electrical). Minimum 5 years of technical experience. Training in key aspects of technical and operator trades. Ability to work in a team environment. Excellent written and verbal skills, including detailed site visit reports. Bilingual in French and English is considered an asset. Ability to train and transfer knowledge to others. Flexible, selfmotivated and driven to achieve customer satisfaction, goals and targets. Strong investigative and diagnostic skills. Computer literacy. Knowledge of customer industry. Superior customer relations and active listening skills. Ability to travel is essential. Positive attitude.
