JMC is pleased to be partnering with Pump House Brewery in the search for a Brewer to join their team.Reporting to the Head Brewer, the Brewer will play an important role in all stages of the brewing process, including milling, brew house operations, fermentation, filtration/centrifugation, and preparing product for packaging. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment and takes pride in maintaining quality, consistency, and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:Support brewing, fermentation, blending, filtration, and centrifuge processesOperate equipment related to milling, brewing, centrifugation, filtration, and blending operationsMonitor process parameters and maintain accurate records throughout productionConduct quality sampling, testing, and related documentationComplete cleaning and sanitation activities for brewing equipment and associated production areasMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentFollow standard operating procedures and safe work practicesAssist with packaging operations as requiredSupport the development of new recipes and brewing processesProvide on-the-job training and support to team members when neededComplete other related duties as assignedQualifications:Minimum of 3 years of brewing experienceStrong technical knowledge of brewing and production processesHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPost-secondary education in a related field such as microbiology, biochemistry, or another science discipline is considered an assetCompletion of an accredited brewery school program is considered an assetForklift experience is considered an assetStrong teamwork and communication skillsPositive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detailAbility to lift and move kegs, malt bags, dry ingredients, pails, and other materials as requiredThis is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week.
