Executive AssistantAdvantage Energy Ltd. (Advantage or the Company) is a Canadian energy producer with a history of operations spanning more than two decades. Advantage is an intermediate producer with current production averaging over 80,000 boe/d, supported by highquality assets concentrated in the Montney and Charlie Lake formations in northwest Alberta, primarily west of Grande Prairie, with additional Montney development opportunities in northeast British Columbia.Advantage is focused on disciplined execution, technical innovation and operational efficiency. The Companys wholly owned subsidiary, Entropy Inc., is a carbon capture and storage leader, with a carbon capture project at Advantages Glacier Gas Plant being developed in phases, including Phase 1 currently in operation and Phase 2 completing construction, with commissioning expected mid2026. Entropy has secured strategic investment commitments from Brookfield Global Transition Fund and the Canada Growth Fund to support the financing of its current and future carbon capture and storage projects.Advantage is actively seeking an Executive Assistant to join its team in the Calgary Head Office. This position will report to the President & CEO, and is a maternity leave contract.The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications: Key Responsibilities:Serves as a primary liaison between the Board of Directors and Advantages executive leadership team.Coordinate and assemble Board and committee meeting materials, including the preparation of Diligent electronic board books.Coordinate logistics and book venues for Board of Directors meetings, board committee meetings and shareholder annual general meetings.Prepare Board and committee meeting agendas and annual schedules.Manage executive calendars, schedules and conference calls.Assist with the preparation and formatting of public disclosure documents, including quarterly and year-end materials, annual information forms and other public documents.Support confidential governancerelated matters, including director onboarding materials, mandate documentation and corporate policy updates.Coordinate interface with external advisors, including legal counsel, investors and other service providers, as required.Coordinate travel arrangements for Executives and Directors, including marketing events, roadshows and conferences.Prepare expense reports and process Company Visa expenses.Submit receipts and maintain records for Alberta Blue Cross submissions.Manage submission and tracking of monthly vacation schedules.Manage and process Company donation requests and volunteering events.Organize all Company social and team-building events.Assist with other administrative tasks, as required.Order and manage all company merchandise.Qualifications and Education Requirements:A minimum 5 years experience as an Executive Assistant supporting C-suite management.Experience with Board meeting arrangements, procedures and planning.Experience with board portals, including Diligent, and virtual meeting platforms is an asset.High proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.Exceptional attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to handle the administration of sensitive and confidential material requiring discretion.Ability to maintain composure and perform effectively in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment with frequently changing priorities.Excellent communication skills considering interactions with industry peers, staff, board directors, and other stakeholders as required.Ability to work efficiently with a diverse team and across multiple functions.Job Type: Full-Time, one-year contractSchedule: Monday Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with occasional flexibility required to meet job demands and deliverables.Term: Maternity Leave Coverage (June 2026 to approximately June 2027).Location: Calgary Head OfficeHow to ApplyWe provide a dynamic working environment that encourages professional growth and personal development opportunities for career advancement.If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, apply by sending your resume to or apply through LinkedIn.We want to thank everyone for applying; however, only applicants that possess the required knowledge and experience will be considered for the position.This posting is open until May 4, 2026.
