Above all else, we believe in doing the right thing for our people, our communities and our planet.Reporting to the Manager, Risk Management, Sr. Analyst, Lease Administration will maintain Recipes portfolio including ownership of lease management software, reconciliation of landlord accounts, and management reporting.What you will do in this role:Portfolio ManagementReconcile complex statements of account, including the audit of CAM and Tax reconciliations, identification and resolution of irregularities in billingReview Leases for all locations to ensure compliance with the Leases in the calculations of CAM costs and responsibilitiesIdentify locations with potential risk to Recipe, including with Landlords; Franchise AR collections; arrears exposure, etc. Written and verbal communication with Landlords to gather documentation and resolve issuesLease Administration Finance & SoftwareCalculate and report percentage and incremental rents in compliance with the Leases, including liaising with the accounting team for identification of accrualsAdopt Recipe financial principles as they relate to accounting; tax; and accounts receivable, when processing paymentsReview and update terms, vendors, and contacts in line with the circulation of new contractsAbstract and maintain key lease clauses, critical dates, and other relevant lease data within lease management softwareWhat we are looking for from you:Post-secondary education in accounting, business administration, or a related fieldMinimum 3 years in Lease Administration including lease software managementComputer proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google SuiteUnderstanding of Canadian commercial real estate market; lease language and interpretation of lease documents; and accounting principlesStrong written and verbal skillsWhats in it for you?Flexible/Hybrid work environmentPay range: $60,000 - $90,000Youd be joining a close-knit, innovative team of creative and energetic go-gettersYoud be a part of Canadas largest full-service restaurant company that leads the industry in size and innovation20% associate discount dining card and monthly dining allowance valid at participating Recipe brandsA welcoming, fun and safe work environment founded on respectCareer advancement opportunities with a company that owns some of Canadas most iconic restaurant brandsIndustry-leading benefits, wellness programs, and total rewards programsRecipe is committed to providing a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace.
