Title: Project Coordinator Location: Ottawa Sector: Construction, ICISalary Range: 45K-65K (According to experience)Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Construction Project Coordinator is part of the project execution team, responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and safely delivering ASCOs projects within our clients budgetary constraints and timelines.The Project Coordinator will:Assist the project team with on-site and off-site coordination and project supportManage Request for Information (RFIs) and Request for Quotations (RFQs)Manage and track Submittals (Shop drawings) and project relevant documentationAssist with pricing of Change RequestsReceive, track, and inspect field purchases and materialsKeep daily records of labour, equipment, concrete, aggregates, and rentalsAssist with procurement of materials, equipment, rentals and subcontractorsAssist with the insurance and management of subcontracts and purchase ordersDevelop and maintain up to date project schedule using MS Project or equivalentAssist with quality control and quality assurance activities on siteObtain, manage, and submit project closeout documentationCandidate should:Have a College or University degree in Architecture, Construction or Engineering is an assetHave at least 3 years of construction project coordination experience working for a general contractorHave excellent knowledge of Bluebeam and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook as a minimum)Have advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Project or Primavera schedulingExperience with surveying Total Station and interface with AutoCAD software an assetHave strong English communication skills (oral and written); French language an assetHave strong aptitude and accuracy with mathematical problem solvingBe willing to work in an office and job site environment and put in the extra time required when the need ariseHave the ability to effectively manage prioritiesBe able to read, understand and interpret plans, drawings, sketches, and contract specificationsEmployment BenefitsHealth, Dental, and Disability benefits programEmployee Family Assistance ProgramMatching RRSP program (up to 5% of base salary)Profit-sharing opportunitiesPerformance and merit-based recognitionHealth and Wellness (flexible hours, work-life balance)Continuing Education reimbursement programHealth and Safety Award ProgramProfessional and career development opportunitiesASCO Construction Ltd is a privately-owned, family-oriented, construction services and solutions provider serving the Canadian construction market.
