Our client in Vaughan is seeking to hire a Electrical Project Manager for redidenitl high rise projects.......About our clientAn electrical contracting company specializing in the high-rise residential sector proud to have delivered services to over 200 residential and commercial projects ranging in size from small boutique developments to multi-building complexes, many of which are part of Toronto's skyline.The OpportunityProject Manager to lead projects across the GTA.Key ResponsibilitiesMust have the ability to read and interpret construction drawings, particularly electrical drawingsMust have the ability to read and understand trade specific shop drawingsProcure, review and submit shop drawings for approval and coordinate release scheduleMonitor construction schedules and project progress to ensure scheduling needs are metReview, price and manage contemplated change orders in a timely fashionManage project budgets and forecast schedulesMust be able to maintain positive relationships with Site Supervisors, Foremen, Sub Trades, Suppliers, Clients, etc.Work with Site Supervisor and Project Foreman to allocate resources for the projectsAttend and represent the Company at project meetings as required and act in the Companys best interestsBook inspections through the Electrical Safety Authority and coordinate with inspectorsWhat we are looking for5+ years of on-site experience in the residential high-rise Sector with an electrical contractor3+ years of scheduling exposureAbility to read blueprints, schematics, field drawings and plansAbility to quantify and qualify all material needed to complete an electrical installation or taskKnowledge of ESA & OBC standards; Able to interpret and locate items in ESA code bookAbility to work in a team environmentExperience with AUTOCAD, ACCUBID, Office, Bluebeam, Invitely, Procore and Viewpoint is extremely beneficial but not a RequirementMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, proficient with Office365 platform)Core CompetenciesExperience in product knowledge, material ordering and assembly structuresStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work well under pressureContinual LearningTime ManagementCommunicationWorking ConditionsOffice-based role with occasional site visits.Full-time position in office and site visits as neededReports to: Senior Project ManagerBenefits:Dental careExtended health careLife insuranceOn-site gymOn-site parkingPaid time offRRSP match
