Our client in Vaughan is seeking to hire an Electrical Estimator for commercial and high rise residential projects.......About our client:An electrical contracting company specializing in the high-rise residential sector proud to have delivered services to over 200 residential and commercial projects ranging in size from small boutique developments to multi-building complexes, many of which are part of Toronto's skyline.The Opportunity and Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for managing multiple project tenders and supporting our operational team. The ideal candidate will have experience with all aspects of electrical estimating, a thorough understanding of installations and systems, and knowledge of residential hi-rise projects and commercial projects. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is eager to learn and grow with our organization.What We Are Looking ForEducational background in Electrical Engineering (B,Eng, CET, C-Tech)/Design, Electrical Technical Experience, Electrical Field installation or relevant experienceExperience in electrical construction, Ontario Electrical code, OBC and NECA3-5 years of high-rise residential and commercial estimating experienceQuantity take-off and estimating experience for electrical projects is mandatoryProficient with ACCUBID, Office, Bluebeam, Invitely, Procore and ViewpointSense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving successYou work well with others in a team environment and contribute in an efficient, effective and positive mannerAble to manage multiple estimates simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlinesStrong organizational, analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills.Detailed orientated and focused on accuracyStrong written and oral communication skillWorking ConditionsOffice-based role with occasional site visits.Full-time positionReports to: Senior EstimatorBenefits:Dental careExtended health careOn-site gymOn-site parkingPaid time offRRSP match
