The OpportunityIsoEnergy Ltd., a leading uranium exploration and development company with projects in some of the worlds most prospective uranium districts, is seeking a motivated Contract Exploration Geologist to join our Exploration team for the 2026 field season. This role supports active uranium exploration programs in northern Saskatchewans worldclass Athabasca Basin.The position is designed for geologists who are comfortable working in a remote, fieldbased environment and are keen to contribute to drillsupported exploration programs. While the role is well suited to geologists with prior exploration experience, those earlier in their careers with strong technical foundations and a willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply. Northern Saskatchewan residents and individuals with Northern Status are strongly encouraged to apply.Job DescriptionReporting to the Project Geologist, the Contract Exploration Geologist will provide geological, technical, and logistical support during daily field operations at remote exploration camps in northern Saskatchewan.The initial contract term is expected to run from June to December 2026, with potential for extension based on operational needs. Field rotations are typically two to four weeks in the field followed by scheduled time off.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct and support geological work including drill core handling, logging, sampling, photography, measuring, and labelingCollect, compile, verify, and interpret geological, geochemical, geophysical, and surface exploration dataApply geological interpretation to support exploration targeting and the development of geological modelsPerform or assist with downhole radiometric (gamma) surveysCollect physical property measurements and assist with reflectance data collection using ARCoptix spectrometerEnter, manage, validate, and maintain geological and project data within project databasesComplete GPS surveying of drill hole collars and assist with field surveysAssist with the preparation of technical documentation and regulatory assessment reports in support of exploration activitiesEnsure exploration activities, data collection, and reporting comply with applicable regulatory and environmental requirementsMaintain accurate and complete records to support regulatory submissions and internal reportingInspect drill sites and other work areas to ensure safety, environmental, and operational standards are followedHike in rugged terrain to locate drill sites, flag trails, and support exploration activitiesParticipate in logistical activities including loading and unloading fixedwing aircraft and helicoptersCollect and report technical, operational, and safety dataFollow all safety, environmental, and radiation protection proceduresMaintain clean, organized, and safe work areasQualification and AttributesLegally eligible to work in CanadaB.Sc. in Geology or a related geoscience disciplineProficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)Willingness to work in situations where handling radioactive drill core may be requiredInterest in fieldbased mineral exploration and a strong work ethicPrevious mineral exploration or core logging experience is an assetUranium exploration experience is an asset but not requiredWillingness to work rotational schedules at remote exploration campsComfortable working outdoors in variable and inclement weather conditionsPhysically able to lift drill core boxes (up to ~60 lbs), stand for extended periods in a core shack, and hike long distances in rough terrain while carrying equipmentWillingness to work extended or irregular hours, including night shifts when requiredWillingness to travel in helicopters and planesFamiliarity with geological software and databases is an assetExperience with GIS software is an assetValid Class 5 Drivers LicenseStrong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a teamDemonstrated commitment to working safely and in an environmentally responsible mannerWhy Join IsoEnergy?Work on active uranium exploration projects in one of the worlds premier uranium districtsCollaborate with experienced geologists and technical professionalsExposure to modern exploration tools, data workflows, and field methodologiesCompetitive contract role with potential for extensionContribute directly to projects supporting the transition to clean, lowcarbon energyAbout IsoEnergyIsoEnergy Ltd. is a globally diversified uranium company with a strong portfolio of mineral resources across Canada, the United States, and Australia, and a significant presence in Saskatchewans Athabasca Basin.
