The Analyst, Strategy and Operations supports the Enterprise Data & AI Technology organizationone of Scotiabanks flagship enterprise wide initiatives. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of a complex, cross functional program that demands strong communication, rigorous financial oversight, effective and strategic planning, and disciplined execution. Working closely with Senior Managers, the Analyst helps support the timely progression of vendor contracts, approvals, and invoices. Also supports the onboarding of new hires to ensure a seamless experience. As a strategic operations partner, the Analyst coordinates activities across multiple internal teams, works and gathers inputs from stakeholders, and ensures processes advance efficiently. This role further ensures that all strategies, plans, and initiatives align with regulatory standards, financial controls, and internal policies. Is this role right for you? In this role, you will: Partner with crossfunctional teams to support contract negotiations, renewals, hiring pipeline management, and budget alignment. Support and track all contractual documentation. Maintain an accurate and uptodate invoice tracking repository. Update invoice records with project details, payment status, and supporting documentation. Support vendor management and finance to review invoicing updates, address discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly. Design and develop reporting dashboards and maintenance of SharePoint sites. Support and maintain onboarding and offboarding processes for both fulltime employees and contractors. Assist technology teams with equipment provisioning during onboarding and offboarding. Coordinate Bankwide hackathons and related activities. Support internal audits, compliance activities, and workforce optimization efforts by delivering accurate and timely data. Perform ad hoc analyses and generate insights that inform strategic and operational decisionmaking. Prepare and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear, concise, and compelling manner. Skills Bachelors / College degree in business, finance, or technology. 4yrs+ of professional experience across Project Management, Finance, Administrative, Operations, Contract Management, and Strategy within a technology-driven organization. Strong communicator with a proven track record of clearly presenting insights and recommendations to a wide range of stakeholders, adept at tailoring messaging and delivery to suit different audiences. Strong analytical, organizational, and problemsolving skills, with the ability to synthesize information and provide clear recommendations. Proven ability to work crossfunctionally with diverse stakeholders, including Finance, Procurement, Talent Acquisition, Technology leadership, and business teams. Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and initiative in driving technology optimization and operational improvements. Experience in event planning, employee engagement, process improvement, or operational efficiency initiatives is considered an asset. Resultsoriented selfstarter with a bias toward action, capable of navigating complex, largescale organizations and fostering strong crossfunctional partnerships; experienced in stakeholder engagement within matrixed environments. Highly curious and eager to learn, bringing an adaptable and creative mindset to problemsolving. What's in it for you?
