Job Description What youll do: You will be responsible for leading the team in providing legendary customer service to make all guests of our Co-op feel at home here. This will be accomplished by: Being abreast about merchandise, make recommendations, resolve any concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers. Actively collaborating with the Food Supervisor Training during/post onboarding to continuously train and develop the team and provide leadership to the team members and in assigning and managing their work and performance. Supervising and delegating employees workflow and duties while ensuring all staff are following safety procedures/ protocols as well as Legacy Co-op's policies and procedures. Responsible for quantity and quality availability of the stock and merchandise in a timely manner and inventory management. Providing ongoing and frequent communication and coaching. Assisting with interviews as needed. Who you are: You are interested in a career in customer service and: You have prior supervisory experience (considered an asset). You have above average communication skills and computer skills. You have retail experience in the areas of customer service and merchandising. Have knowledge of retail grocery operations and willing to expand knowledge in this area. Youre honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do. You are willing to work all shifts scheduled including days, evenings, holidays and weekends. You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives. You are physically able to do heavy lifting of 50 lbs, climb ladders and kneel.
