Our client is a wellestablished private services company providing safety solutions to the oil and gas sector, with operations in both Canada and the United States. This position is located north of Calgary, as they experience renewed growth and rebuild their accounting leadership layer, they require a handson Controller to support the CFO and take ownership of the financial function.The Controller will oversee all corporate controllership responsibilities, including financial reporting, accounting operations, and the oversight of AP/AR staff. Working in a smallcompany environment, you will play a key role in managing a recently implemented ERP system, handling projectbased and manpower billing typical of oilfield services, and supporting the CFO with daytoday accounting. This is an opportunity to step into a stable, private company with a longtenured leadership team and make an immediate impact.To qualify for this growth opportunity, you must be a CPA with approximately 1520 years of progressive experience, ideally in oilfield services or manpowerbased billing environments. Strong knowledge of project billing, time billing, and private company accounting is essential, as is the ability to operate independently and hit the ground running.
