IsoEnergy is seeking an Exploration Geotechnician to support active uranium exploration programs. This is a remote, camp-based contract position well suited to experienced field personnel. Contract term: June to October (with potential for extension) Rotation: Typically, 24 weeks in / scheduled time off out Job Description Reporting to the Project Geologist, the Exploration Geotechnician will provide technical and logistical support during daily field operations at remote exploration camps in northern Saskatchewan. Key Responsibilities Receive, handle, load, and unload drill core and core boxes (coreshack and yard). Measure, mark, orient, log recovery/RQD, photograph, and sample drill core Conduct magnetic susceptibility and physical property measurements Split and sample core following QA/QC procedures Prepare and organize core and sample shipments Set up and maintain core racks and coreshack organization Perform downhole radiometric (gamma) surveys Assist with reflectance and spectral data collection (ARCoptix spectrometer) Enter geotechnical and operational data into project databases Maintain accurate technical records and logs Inspect drill sites, camps, and work areas for safety and environmental compliance Hike rugged terrain to support drilling and exploration activities Assist with helicopter and fixed wing aircraft loading/unloading Follow all safety, environmental, and radiation protection procedures Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas Other duties as assigned Qualification and Attributes Legally eligible to work in Canada Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word Valid Class 5 Drivers License Previous mineral exploration or core geotechnician experience preferred Experience in remote northern exploration camps is an asset Willing and able to work with radioactive drill core (training provided) Willing to travel in helicopters and planes Comfortable working outdoors in variable weather Physically capable of lifting core boxes (~60 lbs), standing for extended periods, and hiking rough terrain Willing to work rotational schedules and extended or irregular hours (including night shift if required) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Demonstrated commitment to safety and environmental responsibility Why Join IsoEnergy?
