Brampton North Nissan - Position We are looking for a **310S Licensed Automotive Technician** to join our highvolume shop. The role offers a competitive compensation package with a flat hourly rate totaling **$75,000 - $110,000** per year, a lucrative production bonus, tool and boot allowance, and a **$5,000 signing bonus** paid after three and six months of employment. We also consider a Level3 310S Apprentice; only licensed 310S technicians are eligible for the stated compensation and signing bonus. Responsibilities Examine all vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required. Prepare a complete report on the back of the repair order. Estimate flatrate times for each recommendation using supplied manuals and employer policies. Obtain parts prices and note availability for each recommendation. Perform all work as outlined on the front of the repair order and as authorized on the back, with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with company and factory standards. Order all parts when authorization is received, unless specifically told otherwise; indicate on the RO that you have done so. Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or insurance, or if requested by the customer. Roadtest vehicles after service whenever a wheel is removed or any repair might affect drivability (e.g., tuneup, valve adjustment, brake work, suspension work, rattle/noise repair). Straight oil changes or transmission fluid changes are excluded. Ensure that all work performed is thorough, accurate, and completed in a timely fashion. Supervise work of all apprentice technicians or students; report deficiencies to the Service Manager immediately. Attend factorysponsored training classes scheduled by management. Attend dealerspecified training courses scheduled by management. Keep abreast of all factory technical bulletins. Learn and understand all current and emerging technologies as they apply to automobile service. Maintain a high degree of concentration to prevent comebacks. Ensure that customer cars are kept as clean or cleaner than when they arrived, both inside and out. Keep the shop area neat and clean at all times. Clean bay and bench at the end of each shift. Dispose of garbage, recycling, etc. as required. Understand and follow federal, provincial, and local regulations regarding disposal of hazardous wastes. Perform other duties as required by management. Qualifications Automotive Service Technician, fully licensed (310S or higher). One to three years experience with automotive mechanical operations. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Licensed Class A Technician considered an asset. Valid Ontario Class G drivers license with a good driving record. Strong diagnostic skills and a willingness to learn. Must be teamoriented, hardworking, possess a strong work ethic, be punctual, and have a positive attitude.
