This is a client facing role focuses on building high-performance, pixel-perfect reports while working closely with data engineering and business teams to enable actionable insights.You will play a key role in supporting enterprise reporting ecosystems, including integration with platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, ERP systems, and modern data platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Engagement & Consulting ExperienceEngage directly with business stakeholders to gather, refine, and translate reporting requirements into technical solutionsLead requirement workshops and reporting discovery sessions to identify KPIs, metrics, and data needsPresent reporting solutions, dashboards, and insights to client teams, including business and leadership stakeholdersProvide recommendations on report design, usability, and data visualization best practicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineering, application teams, business users) to ensure alignment and deliverySupport client decision-making by ensuring reports deliver actionable and accurate insightsManage client expectations, timelines, and communication throughout the reporting lifecycleContribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance reporting solutions and processesReport Development & OptimizationDesign, develop, and deploy scalable reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)Build pixel-perfect, drill-down, and parameterized reports aligned to business requirementsOptimize report performance, including query tuning and dataset optimizationImplement reusable report components and standardized templates.Data Engineering & SQLDevelop complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functionsWork with large-scale datasets ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and performanceCollaborate on ETL processes and data pipelines supporting reporting solutions.Integration & EcosystemIntegrate SSRS reports with enterprise applications (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, ERP systems, web platforms)Work with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for data preparation and transformationCollaborate with Power BI teams for hybrid reporting scenarios where applicable.Maintenance & SupportMaintain and enhance existing reporting solutionsTroubleshoot performance bottlenecks and data discrepanciesManage report subscriptions, scheduling, access control, and security.Required Skills & Qualifications8+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, joins, indexing, performance tuning)Proven experience designing enterprise-grade reports and dashboards.Technical SkillsExperience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processesFamiliarity with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
