What Youll Be Doing In this role, you will: - Lead underwriting operations across personal lines, farm, commercial, and liability - Provide leadership, mentorship, and daytoday support to a strong underwriting team - Guide complex and escalated underwriting decisions with sound judgement and confidence - Build and strengthen relationships with brokers, acting as a trusted partner and escalation point - Contribute to the evolution of underwriting practices, guidelines, and risk appetite - Monitor portfolio performance, trends, and exposure to support informed decisionmaking - Collaborate closely with Claims, Operations, Finance, and other internal teams - Champion continuous improvement across underwriting processes, tools, and workflows - Leverage data, insights, and technology to enhance consistency and decision quality - Support a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth What You Bring - Progressive underwriting experience across personal lines, farm, commercial, or liability - Leadership experiencewhether through direct management or seniorlevel guidance - Strong underwriting judgement and a balanced approach to risk - A relationshipdriven mindset with the ability to build trust internally and externally - A collaborative, solutionsoriented approach with a desire to contribute ideas and improvements - CIP designation (or equivalent experience) is considered a asset Why This Role - Opportunity tomake a real impacton underwriting practices and business direction - Join awell-established, stable organizationwith a strong reputation - Be part of asupportive, collaborative, and peoplefocused culture - Work alongside a team that valuesopen discussion, new ideas, and continuous improvement - Flexibility through ahybrid work environment - Competitive compensation, benefits, pension, and earned time off The Environment This is a team that values respect, trust, and strong working relationships.
