This is a dual-mandate role responsible for both the day-to-day operational execution of our platinum ticketing and resale programs and the development of forward-looking strategies that optimize revenue performance across both product lines.The ideal candidate is analytically minded, deeply familiar with the secondary ticketing marketplace, and passionate about unlocking value in the live events ecosystem. You will work cross-functionally with sales, technology, finance, and client services to ensure our platinum and resale products remain competitive, efficient, and profitable.The Fine Print:Platinum Ticketing - OperationsManage end-to-end operational workflows for platinum ticket allocations across all active events, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality control.Liaise with venue partners, promoters, and internal teams to coordinate platinum inventory setup, pricing, and fulfillment.Monitor platinum ticket performance in real time, identifying trends and escalating issues as needed.Oversee the configuration and maintenance of platinum ticket products within the AdmitONE platform.Ensure compliance with partner agreements and regulatory requirements related to premium ticketing.Resale - OperationsOversee daily operations of the resale marketplace, including listing management, seller onboarding, and buyer experience.Keep up with the with the evolving resale rules and regulations in the local markets in which AdmitONE operatesPartner with technology and product teams to maintain and improve resale platform functionality and reliability.Monitor resale transaction volumes, fee structures, and payout processes to ensure operational integrity.Manage escalations, disputes, and exceptions related to resale transactions in a timely and professional manner.Maintain strong working knowledge of competitor resale platforms and industry best practices.Strategy & Revenue OptimizationDevelop and execute revenue optimization strategies for both platinum and resale product lines, including dynamic pricing models, inventory segmentation, and demand forecasting.Analyze market data, competitor pricing, and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities for margin improvement and revenue growth.Build and present business cases for new product features, pricing changes, or partnership opportunities to senior leadership.Define and track KPIs for both platinum and resale products; deliver regular performance reports and strategic recommendations.Collaborate with the sales and client service teams to develop platinum and resale value propositions for venue and promoter partners.Lead post-event reviews to capture learnings and continuously refine operational and strategic playbooks.What We're Looking For:Must-Have1-3 years of experience in ticketing operations, revenue management, or a related field within the live events or entertainment industry.Demonstrated understanding of platinum ticketing models and the secondary/resale ticketing marketplace.Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience working with data to drive decisions.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external partners.Self-starter with a strategic mindset and a strong sense of ownership over outcomes.PreferredExperience with ticketing platforms such as Ticketmaster, AXS, SeatGeek, or comparable systems.Familiarity with dynamic pricing tools and revenue management software.Experience in a client-facing or commercial role within the ticketing or sports/entertainment industry.Knowledge of the Canadian and North American live events landscape.Experience working in a growth-stage or technology-driven organization.Whats in it for you?Competitive compensation, including base salary and generous vacation policy.Opportunities for growth in a dynamic, fast-paced organization.A collaborative culture that celebrates creativity and innovation.Access to unique experiences across The MRG Groups diverse portfolio.The opportunity to shape the strategy of a high-growth product area within a leading Canadian ticketing company.Our CommitmentThe MRG Group is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
